SUMMARY:Senior Affairs Commission (SAC) – General Session Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The San Bernardino County Senior Affairs Commission (SAC) is an advisory body that meets regularly to provide guidance to the Department of Aging and Adult Services – Public Guardian (DAAS-PG) on policies\, programs\, and services that support older adults across the county. \nThe Commission plays a key role in identifying community needs and helping shape services that improve the quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities. \nDuring its General Session meetings\, the Commission brings together DAAS-PG staff\, community stakeholders\, and the public to discuss current issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities —locally and statewide. These meetings provide a space for collaboration\, information-sharing\, and advocacy. \nHow to join the meeting in person\nAll meetings are open to the public. All scheduled items will be heard at the DAAS-PG East Valley Region/Administration office located at 784 E. Hospitality Ln.\, San Bernardino. \nHow to join the meeting by interactive video for Public Comment\nAlternate locations for the public to address the Commission by interactive video for Public Comment are offered as a courtesy and may be closed due to inclement weather\, if technology fails\, or another unforeseen emergency.
