Adult Protective Services (APS) helps protect older adults aged 60 and over, as well as adults aged 18–59 with a disability, who may be facing abuse or neglect.
APS is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week, 365-days a year.

Age Wise provides mental health counseling, education, resources and support for individuals aged 59 and older.

In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) helps people stay in their own homes by providing services that support their health and safety. The program offers help with tasks individuals can’t do on their own.

The Older Californian Nutrition Program helps older adults by providing healthy meals, nutrition education and increased social support. Eligible individuals can receive meals at group locations or delivered to their home.

The Office of the Public Guardian acts as the court-appointed conservator of last resort for individuals who are unable to provide for their basic needs. The Office of the Public Guardian also sells real and personal property owned by conserved individuals.
The San Bernardino County Senior Affairs Commission (SAC) serves as an advisory body and may make recommendations to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the Department of Aging and Adult Services-Public Guardian Director on policy matters related to the needs of older adults and the services available to meet those needs.
The Senior Information and Assistance program helps adults aged 55 and older get the services they need by sharing information about programs and community resources. Senior Information and Assistance also assists with applying for programs.
