
The Intergenerational Committee is a standing committee of the San Bernardino County Senior Affairs Commission (SAC). Its mission is to support programs and services that connect different generations—especially those involving grandparents raising grandchildren and other kinship caregiving arrangements.
The committee works in partnership with the Department of Aging and Adult Services – Public Guardian (DAAS-PG) to promote intergenerational activities, support kinship centers, and address related community needs.

Through collaboration and advocacy, the Intergenerational Committee works to strengthen the connections between generations and improve the quality of life for all involved.
All meetings are open to the public. All scheduled items will be heard at the DAAS-PG East Valley Region/Administration office located at 784 E. Hospitality Ln., San Bernardino.
Alternate locations for the public to address the Commission by interactive video for Public Comment are offered as a courtesy and may be closed due to inclement weather, if technology fails, or another unforeseen emergency. If the sites are closed, a notice will be posted by 9 a.m. the day of the meeting whenever feasible.
As part of an ongoing commitment to improved public access, all meetings are live-streamed as a courtesy by the San Bernardino County Senior Affairs Commission and the Department of Aging and Adult Services-Public Guardian. Viewers cannot make a public comment or interact with the meeting in progress using this method.
