Through its efforts, the Access Committee works to remove barriers and promote equitable access to services that help older adults live safely and independently in their communities.
By staying informed and engaged, the Legislative Committee helps ensure the voices of older adults and individuals with disabilities are considered in policymaking at all levels of government.
By staying involved and informed, the Nutrition Committee helps ensure older adults in San Bernardino County receive high-quality, nutritious meals in a respectful and supportive environment.
By coordinating efforts across the Commission and supporting effective communication, the Executive Committee helps ensure that the needs and priorities of San Bernardino County’s older adults are addressed efficiently and thoughtfully.
During its General Session meetings, the Commission brings together DAAS-PG staff, community stakeholders, and the public to discuss current issues affecting older adults and individuals with disabilities —locally and statewide. |
