The Area Plan is a four-year plan created by the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) to understand and support the needs of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers. It explains how the AAA will provide services and use funding to help these groups. The plan also helps make sure local efforts match state and federal goals.

The draft 2026 update is now available for public review and comment.
We invite older adults, individuals with disabilities, caregivers, service providers and community members to review the draft and share your feedback.
Your comments will help inform the final Area Plan. Please review the 2024–2028 Area Plan Update Two Draft and complete the Area Plan Comment Form to share your questions, comments or suggestions. The document available for review is a draft and has not yet been approved by the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors. The final Area Plan will be posted on this website after it has received Board approval.
