Long-Term Care Ombudsmen help protect residents in long-term care facilities by investigating reports of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment. This includes facilities such as:
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Intermediate care facilities
- Assisted living facilities
- Board and care homes
Ombudsmen also make regular visits to ensure residents know their rights. All services are free and confidential.
