The Older Californians Nutrition Program (OCNP) helps older adults by providing healthy meals, nutrition education and social support. Meals are available at group sites or delivered to the home for those who qualify.

  • Age 60 or older
  • A spouse of someone age 60 or older
  • An individual under age 60 who has a disability and lives in housing for older adults where group meals are served
  • An individual with a disability who lives at home with an older adult who takes part in the nutrition program

The Congregate Meals program serves healthy meals in group settings. These programs help people enjoy good food, meet others, and learn more about available services and support.

Voluntary contributions are welcome but not required.

These meals are provided at nutrition sites throughout the county.

Our Home-delivered Meals program brings nutritious meals directly to the homes of older adults who are unable to shop or prepare food on their own. These meals help older adults stay healthy, independent, and connected to the support they need.

Meals are delivered on a regular schedule and provide at least one-third of the recommended daily nutritional intake.

Who can receive home-delivered meals?

  • Adults age 60 or older who are frail, homebound, or unable to leave the home without assistance due to illness, disability, or isolation
  • The spouse of an eligible older adult, if providing meals helps support the older adult’s well-being
  • An adult with a disability who lives with an eligible older adult and whose participation helps support the older adult’s ability to remain at home
  • Voluntary contributions are welcome but not required. Services are provided throughout San Bernardino County.
