The General Session Public Comment agenda item allows community members to share their input on matters within the Senior Affairs Commission’s (SAC) responsibilities. Commissioners cannot discuss or take action on items that are not listed on the agenda.
Public Comments may be submitted in person at a SAC General Session meeting during the designated Public Comment agenda item, or electronically before the meeting starts.
To provide a comment electronically, click the “Submit a Public Comment” button below.
Public Comments may be also submitted via email to DAASSAC@hss.sbcounty.gov. In the subject line, type the words “Public Comment.”
- Comments submitted electronically must be received at least one hour before the meeting begins to be read the same day.
- Comments received after a meeting begins (and before it ends) will be read into the record at the next regularly scheduled General Session meeting.
Please note: The Public Comment email inbox is only for comments intended to be read into the record during the Senior Affairs Commission General Session Meeting.
Important Guidelines:
- Limit comments to three (3) minutes in length
- Do not include personal details such as your full name, date of birth, or address
- This inbox is not regularly monitored
- Do not use this inbox for:
- Sales or advertising
- Complaints or concerns unrelated to the Commission
- Messages meant for County departments or staff
Comments that do not follow these guidelines may not be reviewed or added to the official record.
