The San Bernardino County Senior Affairs Commission (SAC) advises the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors and the Director of the Department of Aging and Adult Services-Public Guardian on policy matters related to the needs of older adults and the services available to meet those needs.
The Senior Affairs Commission works with the department to effect positive change for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and other members of the community.

Each general session begins with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a special presentation from an agency that serves older adults and people with disabilities. There are opportunities for members of the public to speak and receive updates on issues/items of interest to the commission.
